Britain’s Favourite Rooibos Tea

Teas Explained

We’ve been brewing rooibos tea for a long time, over a hundred years, but we’re still a family concern, now in the fourth generation. and we’re pretty confident we know a fair old bit about growing, harvesting and selecting the very best rooibos, a health benefits tea. In fact, we’re proud to point out that Tick Tock Original Rooibos Tea is still made in the same way as when Benjamin Ginsberg, the founder of rooibos (redbush) tea, first perfected the curing of the wild plant.

Tick Tock Types

Delightful any time of day, in the evening or as a bedtime drink, enjoy Tick Tock the way you like it, whether with a slice of lemon, as-it-comes, or with milk and a hint of sugar or honey. Rooibos has a delicious, slight natural sweetness all its very own, so why not do as we do, and ring the changes to suit the need.

If your taste runs to a lighter flavour try Tick Tock Rooibos Green Tea, still made from 100% pure rooibos. Cured in a similar way to traditional Chinese green tea, the leaves retain their lovely fresh bright colour and it goes without saying there’s not a hint of caffeine in this either. Find out more.

Ideal for the whole family, Tick Tock is a warm comfort in the cold and offers a deliciously refreshing iced option on a hot day. Click here for quick and easy iced tea recipes.

Rooibos (Redbush) Tea Benefits

Most people love Tick Tock just because it tastes so good but the health conscious amongst us will be heartened to know Rooibos is naturally rich in anti-oxidants and also contains AHA’s (natural alpha hydroxyacids) used for centuries for fresh glowing skin. As rooibos is low in tannins and completely caffeine free, it’s great for hydration as part of your recommended daily intake. What’s not to love?
